High Tech Car Rally with Adventure for Life

Adventure for Life’s Mornington Peninsula High Tech Adventure race is part site seeing, part team building, and plenty of fun. It’s designed to celebrate everything that is wonderful about the Mornington Peninsula.

During a recent event, guests were picked up at their corporate offices in Melbourne’s East and given a GPS unit and a QR code. Scanning the QR code took teams to a branded website outlining the rules of the game and the first checkpoint.

Teams then jumped in the Adventure for Life vehicles and directed their drivers to the first checkpoint 45km away. At each checkpoint guests would scan QR codes that contained challenges where time bonuses could be won.

The challenges included blind wine tasting at T’Gallant, a Masterchef Challenge at Flinders Hotel, a golf ball driving comp at Moonah Links, and a blind beer tasting activity at Hickinbotham Estate.

Other checkpoints were located at beautiful lookouts overlooking Western Port and Bass Strait.

During the journey, teams picked up envelopes containing pieces to a puzzle. At the final destination, teams ripped open their envelopes and solved the puzzle to stop their race clock. The only thing left to do was adjust times for the bonuses earned during the race, and declare a winning team over an award winning microbrew.
