Established in 2013 by Stuart and Naomi McIntosh, Chief's Son has grown to become one of the largest family-owned and operated distilleries in Australia  and the only single malt whisky distillery on the Mornington Peninsula. Celebrated for its bold, distinctive and award-winning single malt whiskies, the distillery has also expanded its range to include a unique Single Malt Vodka and Whisky Coffee Liqueur.

Visitors are welcomed into a tasting room overlooking the working distillery floor, where tailored whisky experiences are designed to suit every level of knowledge and interest. Explore how the whiskies are crafted, discover where grains and barrels are sourced, and follow the journey from malt to maturation while taking in the rich aromas of ageing spirit.

For a deeper dive, guided distillery tours invite guests onto the production floor to taste whisky straight from the barrel, taking home a 100ml sample as a keepsake,  with the option to add a cheese platter or chocolate pairing.
