Established in 1990 by Eileen Gordon and Grant Donaldson, Gordon Studio Glassblowers is a working hot glass studio and gallery in Red Hill, offering corporate and incentive groups a unique opportunity to discover one of the Mornington Peninsula's creative and artistic experiences.
Representing the Gordon family, the Gallery showcases a diverse collection of art glass, from traditional cameo and contemporary carved and engraved glass to colourful hand-blown vases, bowls, platters, bottles and sculptural works. Magnificent indoor and outdoor glass sculptures and commissioned pieces are also on display.
A viewing mezzanine provides an opportunity for guests to watch the glassblowers at work, offering an insight into the skill, precision and creativity behind this ancient art form. Glass is heated to temperatures of up to 1,300 degrees Celsius before being shaped and transformed into unique works of art.
With its combination of craftsmanship, creativity and live production, Gordon Studio Glassblowers provides a memorable cultural experience for corporate and incentive groups looking to discover a different side of the Mornington Peninsula.
