Portsea Golf Club

The history begins in the late 1800s when the tourist potential of the Portsea and Sorrento was realised. Eventually, some 90 acres were set aside by the Portsea Lands Company in 1923 and a preliminary nine-hole layout was commenced. Now, the Club is a fully integrated development adjoining Point Nepean National Park, consistently ranked among Australia’s top 50 courses.

Portsea Golf Club is a dedicated “Land for Wildlife” venue - one of the core values is “to be responsible custodians by maintaining and improving the course in an environmentally sustainable manner”.

The location of the Club at the end of Mornington Peninsula is an easy 90-minute drive from Melbourne. The Club is surrounded by a spectacular array of facilities, providing the perfect base for golf, sight-seeing, team building, water-based activities, and wine and foodie tours.

Our multi-purpose, pillarless and divisible meeting space, is perfect for conferences, dinners, or days when you just need the extra space. The room contains floor to ceiling windows with 180-degree views across Portsea Golf Course and beyond to Port Phillip Bay.

Our 24 accommodation rooms are perfect for delegates, each room contains a balcony or terrace, ensuite and modern hotel conveniences.
