Red Hill Truffles

Truffle hunting at Red Hill Truffles on the Mornington Peninsula is hard to beat for a gourmet adventure for corporate events. Learn all about the mysterious world of truffles, how they are farmed and how they propagate in the wild.

Red Hill Truffles hunting adventures and fresh truffles are available in every season: winter, spring, summer or autumn.

Experienced truffle hunters will take your team on a unique adventure to forage for truffles with our experienced truffle hunting dogs. Our talented dogs locate the underground treasures. Guests have the opportunity to get down and sniff if a truffle is ripe and unearth truffles with their own hands.

Guests return to our Hunt Pavilion to wash and prepare their harvested truffles for a gourmet truffle experience. While washing they will be offered a glass of non-alcoholic local cider and hear why truffles are so evocative and desirable.

The gourmet truffle lunch is a season affair. In winter and spring first course is a truffle soup and in summer and autumn a cheese tasting plate.  With the second course, guests get to shave the truffle they have harvested over a gourmet home-made wood-fired pizza. The third course is an amazing truffle dessert.
