With a rich history spanning over a century, Sorrento Golf Club has cemented its place as one of the premier golf destinations on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. The club’s origins trace back to 1907, when a group of enthusiastic locals first met to create a golf course on land near the shores of Port Phillip Bay. From these humble beginnings, the Sorrento Golf Club was formed and it's Members set out on the journey to craft a championship seaside course that could match the finest in the state.

Over 115 years later, that vision has been fully realised through determination and community spirit. The history of Sorrento Golf Club is characterised by perseverance through challenges, milestones and commitment to nurturing a unique golfing experience over 19 spectacular holes.

Sculpted through undulating terrain, Sorrento challenges golfers with a Par 70 course that includes a variety of generous landing zones, sharp doglegs and superb bent grass greens. 

Our elegant clubhouse overlooking the 18th green completes the exceptional experience, offering excellent quality dining for any event and including spaces for board meetings, seminars and large scale gala dinner events.
